1. This spot welder can be used to weld the nickel, nickel plated steel, nickel plated iron, iron and other alloys, but
it can't be used to weld metal including copper and aluminum.

Increasing the welding current and the quantity of pulses can improve the welding performance when you are processing thicker nickel strip.
3.
A 40A-60A circuit breaker may help to prevent tripping out.
